Do wireless locks need cabling?
Wireless locks are battery powered, so individual doors usually don't need cabling. Some readers and controllers still need power and network, which we'll identify during the site assessment.
Can you add Salto to our existing Integriti, Genetec or similar system?
In many cases, yes. Salto integrates with Inner Range Integriti, Genetec or a similar system, so wireless doors can be managed alongside your existing ones. We'll confirm compatibility with your version during the assessment.
How are the batteries managed?
Battery levels are reported in the system, so you can replace them during routine maintenance rather than waiting for a lock to go flat.
Can staff use their phones as keys?
Yes, mobile keys are available on suitable Salto systems, alongside cards and fobs.
